What you see
The Filings page is a reverse-chronological feed of every corporate announcement filed to NSE or BSE. Each row shows:
- Time of filing (IST)
- Stock symbol and company name
- Category (board meeting, results, dividend, M&A, regulatory order, etc.)
- Materiality tag — material / material+context / routine
- AI-generated summary — usually 1–3 sentences
- Original PDF link
The feed updates in real time. New filings appear at the top within ~30 seconds of NSE/BSE publication.
Why this beats reading PDFs
The raw filing feed from NSE and BSE is voluminous (>500 filings per day across both exchanges), mostly routine, and stored as opaque PDFs. Manually scanning for material disclosures is impractical.
The intelligence layer does three things:
- Categorises every filing using NSE/BSE's category taxonomy plus internal refinement
- Summarises the substance using an AI model, pulled from PDF text and (where needed) image OCR
- Tags materiality by keyword classification — earnings beat, large order, regulatory action, fundraising, M&A, etc.
You read 30 summaries instead of 500 PDFs.
Filters
Above the feed:
- Category — multi-select. Pick exactly which categories you care about.
- Materiality — material only, material+context, all
- Watchlist filter — show filings only for stocks you watch
- Date range — last 24 hours / 7 days / 30 days / 90 days / custom
For most users: leave Materiality at "material+context" and toggle the watchlist filter when you want noise reduction.
Bookmarks
Every filing has a bookmark icon. Toggle the Bookmarks filter on the Filings page to see only the filings you've saved. Use this to flag filings worth re-reading — a board meeting agenda you want to follow through on, an order announcement you want to track to revenue impact.
Stream vs poll
The page uses Server-Sent Events to push new filings without polling. If your connection is good, you'll see filings appear within a second or two of publication. A 25-second keepalive ping maintains the connection.
What's in the AI summary vs the PDF
The summary covers:
- What was filed — the substance, not the title
- Numbers — when the filing contains them (results, order sizes, deal values)
- Implication — short, neutral
The summary does NOT:
- Recommend buy or sell
- Provide context on whether the news is "good" or "bad" beyond what the filing itself says
For deeper context, click through to the PDF and read the management commentary, or open the stock's page and check conviction / peers / financials around the event.
